So i'm at the gas station yesterday, parked at 2 pumps, since I can't park any other way. I'm pumping 120 some dollars into the truck mowers and 5 gal tanks. This lady parks behind my trailer and expects me to move my truck forward. I'm not starting my truck and moving it while pumping gas, no way no how, and even if I did, i'd be blocking all traffic in and out of the gas station. I told her I can't move the truck while pumping gas, its a fire hazard. "Well how long are you gonna be? I'm in a hurry." I said "At least 10 minutes." She got real mad and went in and talked to whoever was working inside. They came out and asked me to move my truck. I flipped. A customer is spending 100 some dollars at your pump and you expect them to move for some lady who can't wait for someone to finish? You are out of your mind. Anyone else have these experiences at the pumps? I go to this station because it is cheaper... 2.05 compared to 2.15-2.19 at the others. It really ticked me off that they wanted me to move. :realmad:

I would refuse. Their hands are tied anyway. Some old bag wants them to tell you to move, so who do they make mad? Make it easy on them and make her mad yourself.

Ask them if you should move your truck to the gas station up the road.

Yeah, that'll show 'em who's boss. Probably will keep the 17 year old who works there from sleeping at night.

Peoples rudeness and inconsideration cease to amaze me! "Im in a hurry" she was thinking about herself and not you or no one else. I would have intentally took me sweet *&* time. I have -0- tolerance for people like her.

I'd have definitely stayed there and checked every fluid level, tire pressure, lug nut and light on the truck AND trailer, until she finally got the message and moved her own dumb a**. Nothing like an a**hole to start your day off right!! This would be a great job if it were'nt for the people.

She may be a regular customer of the inside of the store (where the profits are). The reason that most gas stations are now mini marts or more is the profit is made inside and not at the pumps.
Are you a regular customer and do you know the people that work there.
I put about $150. per day into gas but the guys put about the same on the counter for food and drinks. The owner likes my guys a lot more than me.

Still not fair and I would move when I was done just like any other customer.

"This would be a great job if it were'nt for the people. " I like that

I would have looked at them and said "NO" and went back to what I was doing. What are they going to do?
