I have an Exmark (Next) Lazer Z A/S with a 60" cut(2009). I'd like to get a spare set of blades and would like to try a set of Gator Blades. Can anyone help me find the right model number of the Gator Blade that would work on my mower? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, still looking. I've looked at a few sites and their serial numbers for Exmark don't match the serial number of my blades. I haven't found the center hole size either, 1/2" or 5/8". I didn't see the size in the manual unless I overlooked it. Thanks, just looking for some help.

Go to WWW.TEXASMOWERPARTS.COM

you will have to get under there to check the center hole. they make 2 diffrent sizes for that machine.

there the lowest prices anywhere that I have found.
shipping is 10.00. <----notice the period
if you order 1.00 shipping is 10.00
if you order 1,000.000.00 shipping is 10.00

OK, thanks. I'll try that link. Have you tried Gators before?

I really didnt care for the gator blades that I tried a few years ago. They didn't have the lift that standard high lift blades have, and they seem to gum the grass together upon discharge. I used them on a gravely 260 and prefer the OEM blades.

djflats,
If you are wanting to run the gators on the Exmark, then you are wanting to mulch the clippings-Right?? If I read your post correctly, your unit is a 2009 with the ultra-cut deck!
Mulching is mulching for one thing and mulch kits are needed or you will have deck blowout in the front. My Lazer HP has a mulch kit with the sliding front baffle plate on the front of the deck that lowers by loosening 4 bolts. I am here to say that we found some gator blades locally that are not OEM parts and are great for cutting but because they are not the high lift mulching blade, the user will gets covered with grass fragments and dust. The extreme OEM blades are designed for what you are looking for.
I don't know if this helps you plight but the gator blades are out there but may not be what you want. At 17.00 a pop for me, I only purchased one set of gator's and threw them away after that. Wasn't worth getting covered with dust and grass on a mower that mulches. IF you are side discharging, then why are you wanting the gator's for??

I've been reading some reviews and now I'm thinking of just sticking to my "stock" blades.

Well I guess I was just wanting to try something different and have an extra set of blades. I'm pretty sure the Gator's may not be for me the more I read. I think I'll just get another set of "stock" blades. Thanks for your input...very helpful.
