What do you find works best for getting rid of clover enfested yards?
Do you have a license? If not, get to plucking.
Confront if you can still find it. If not there are products with the same AI.
Spray Trimec on it.
speedzone, it only carries a caution label as well
Clover is fairly easy to kill. Triplett or Trimec work well. Confront is excellent but it is no longer labeled for residential lawns. A 3 inch mowing height and fertilizer will keep it out.i
Speedzone is deadly for clover and it works very fast. It will also be rainfast in 3 hours. I don't advocate spraying if it is gonna rain but I did get caught by a freak rainstorm 2 years ago about 4 hours after I sprayed 2 acres. I had a sleepless night but when I went back to check a week later there was total kill. I am a believer. Good Luck.
The Dude...you Joisy guys crack me up...lol.
Not. Proper mowing and fertility may go a long way, but if that were all it took to control clover it would not be a problem. Trimec will give decent control but works better when used with a sticker. The best clover control I have ever had came from Drive 75, it is too expensive to use if it is only clover you are targeting, but for clover and crab its hard to beat.
I like corsair or manor or those two in a tank mix.
