I need your expert advice on how to kill nut grass. I thought I removed it last year from a client BUT it has returned? Thanks in advance for your help!

Sedge hammer or surge will work. it may be to late for good results this year and will take a couple applications. then it will probably return! I dont think you can ever get rid of all the underground tuber system!

The best time is the early spring. Hit it when it's young with Dismiss. Sedgehammer is good. What type of turf?
It's really tough now, Make sure you pick up those burrs when mowing as they have seed and will just add to the problem.

i'm sorry. i lived in wilmington for many years, before the state went completely Marxist. i lived in California also which also goose-steps to Vladimir Lenin of Russia. The attack on Americans is severe, especially White Americans
lesco sold me some other stuff that i have not tried-- they have trial samples for 6 bucks

its seems to be a bigger and bigger problem each season,
as it seems warmer and drier every year , adding to the
spread of the weed. i use 2 apps of dimension every spring
and it offers 0 control/prevention. i currently spot treat.

hopefully there will be a preventative/pre-emergent in the works

at least the post emerg. products available seem to all
    work pretty well

now, wanna discuss our arch enemy? bentgrass

just spray bentgrass with 2-4 d weed control. it will brown and die.

you can rake it out with a hard rake which is very easy.

i will take a few apps of 992 or the equivalent

we have zoyzia grass that spreads like bent,

mix 992 at the 1.5 rate.

    i double hit bent grass

that has never worked for me, i have achieved some minor
browing with a full rate of drive mixed with a 24d herbi.
but no kill, and not worth the overall ugly appearance.

i do need to keep experimenting though, i discovered a patch
at my house i can play with
