Nice bottle of Jag in pic 2. Yuck!
Well the season is done here in chicago... mid december with no snow..wtf...
I pulled off the old conventional setup that i had on in the pics from summer and in the process of putting on a unimount...
Do any of you guys paint/touch up your equipment over the winter? im thinking about painting both of my mowers (probably just the decks, since those see prety much all of the scratches) i will be selling both of the machines in spring and opting to get an enclosed trailer and one stand on machine...
I do paint mine once they bad enough. But if your going to be selling them I would so you can get top dollar for them.
lawnman thats what i was thinking of... to some other landscapers around here they look like there in real good condition but to me they look beat up... i spent all season getting new belts on them and bearings and stuff.. only thing i still have to do is a hydro pump on the ztr... sometimes you have to put pennies into a machine to get dollars out.. right?
If you put all the new parts in to them you don't want scratches on the deck to take away from all the money you put in to them.
Yeah as long as you aren't putting a ridiculous amount of money in to them you should be fine because they have to look good but more importantly they have to run and cut well. So it sounds like you should do fine selling them.
I'm also looking to paint my metro's deck and selling it, what do you guys use for paint??
