Honestly this IS the show for amateurs
It has a lot more to offer to someone who hasn’t been doing this professionally for a dogs age.
It’s like going to Disney the first time ever... too much to see in the time you have.

But for someone who’s an old vet, it’s more like scouring a flea market looking for hidden gems, hoping you just haven’t wasted your time coming here.

    Honestly
A show like gie can do more for you in one weekend than a year of reading threads on a site like this.
I’m not knocking feee advice , but if you want to catapult your profession and you’re a newb, this place is huge - the investment in money and time can’t even be measured in terms of return on investment
Especially if you take classes and talk to people and not just waste time “going for rides” outside.
(Do do that, just don’t blow all your time doing it)

I'll be there again. I'm not far from it, about an hour. So it is a good day to kill. Which the days/hours were a little different.

Did the dealer address the hydro issue you mentioned?

Any chance in the future they will have shows in other areas of the country?

Even if the show is scaled down, I would go if they had one in New England or New York/Jersey.

The show is growing like gangbusters in its current location so it is un likely they will move to another site any time soon.

There are smaller shows in other places during the winter including the Northeast.
