Has anybody tried these machines with the four wheel steering? Does Cub Cadet have different technology since the steering wheel is different? I wonder if they are different patents?

I've owned a Gizmo for several years now and have been very pleased with it.

I believe the Cub steering system is hydraulically controlled, while the Gizmow has a mechanic design.

The Gizmow system has chains linking each front wheel to the steering column. As the wheel is turned, the inside drive wheel progressively slows, and goes in reverse at full lock. The system is mechanically simple and I've only had one issue where a front chain popped off after I hit an unseen, deep hole at full speed. The chain master link clip thing had popped off and I simply reinstalled one, added a couple twists of safety wire around it, re-adjusted according to the manual, and have had no other issues at all. Knock on wood.

To me the advantage of a steering wheel is the hill control, forward or reverse, wet or dry.
