Can someone tell how to remove the old torque converter from a jack shaft on a Carter go cart model 1136? Appears to be pressed on to a keyed shaft. Do you hammer it off the end or have to use a puller of some sort or suggestion? thanks.

They are not a press fit, So you should be able to tap it off. If it's rusted on then remove the screw on the other end of the shaft then remove shaft and all then take it to a shop with a press and have them press it off.
