You guys ever say to yourself, that you went in too deep to something and you should of never gotten into? Today my guys and I were doing some trimming of some cedar hedges, we just started for about 1hr.. didn't do much because we were hesitant. The neighbours come out and said how low are you going to be cutting that? I said, I didnt even start yet.. I'm just pruning it lightly.. Apparently now when I spoke with the neighbours there was a miscommunication with the client and the neighbours on what could be removed. I said, to my partner good thing we asked the neighbours before we started pruning like crazy... The neighbours now did not want the tree's hacked back to what my client said! I received the phonecall from him tonight and he said sorry, the job cann't be done because the other neighbour doesnt want it done! I said no problems, I WAS LIKE THANK GOD in my head! It was a big job, $625 to prune cedar's.. I then told him, you know what? It seems like what you asked me to do in the beginning is different then what you want done now, so I'm going to have to cancel my service and you're going to have to call a CERTIFIED ARBORIST to do this job! So make sure you guys ask the neighbours before you do this type of work! Good thing I talked to the neighbours before I did some more work.. He said fair enough and he said, why dont you come to my place and do my shrub and gardens? I said THAT I can definiately do! Prune some hedges, azaleas, clean out the garden beds..
