Man it is hot here! We have had a week of record setting heat in North Texas. 105, 107, an today it said 112 on my thermometer in my truck. Grass is brown, mowing is dusty work, and after about 3 hours, you are fried! Literally!
I have had to move several of my accounts to 12 day cutting cycle, simply because nothings growing! Show up to mow and and the grass has grown about 1/4 inch in a week. doesn't seem to matter how much water you pour to the lawn, it still turns brown.
A Lot of my residentials have burnt grass along curbs and driveways from the heat radiating off the concrete.
Drinking a ton of water, and gatoraid, but I am wiped out at the end of the day.
