Good employee pay???

    For the people that have a good employees what do you start them at, and where do the move to???

    12 is bottom dollar....

    no DL no experience.

    14-15 is "average"/common (with DL and DOT health card)

    there are some that make 16-19 and a few that make 20-25 (typically CDL drivers, lead foremen, special skills type employees, hourly managers etc)

    More pay better employee retention.

    I guess we just have inbread people down here. Even 12 - 13 per hour you get idiots...

    Why would anyone with half a brain do a hard physical, and semi skilled job with no benefits for $12-13/hour?

    This is pretty much where I'm at.
    The low number I'm a bit higher, and the high number I'm a bit lower, but I'm guessing that is more about the size of my company compared to tp's than anything else.

    What is the average income in Mass.??? It's NO where near that down here... Just finding some one with experience is a *****...

    Thank about it like this... What is the cost of living here compared to there??? Different locations require different numbers...

    No idea how the cost of living in my area is compared to yours. $12 or 13/hour up here though and you're most definitly broke. Also keep in mind we only have an 8 month season to make money up here.
