Yeah, that DOT inspection is a PITA. Unless the rules have changed, he may be exempt from that. From what I remember, the inspection only applied to vehicles with a GVW of OVER 10,000 lbs -- which might be one reason to purchase the truck.all i can think about is TRYING to get that to pass DOT inspection every year!
