:nono: Whats the matter with you? Go spend the extra 30 bucks and treat yourself to double the blowing power for crying out loud. I spoil myself with the best tools possible, there ain't no way I'm going to cheap out on the tool I use the most. You'll save so much time you could raise your price and take on more work.payup I had the extra cost of the new blower justified in about a day. :)
The truck and trailer are a different story, I get by with mine.

BTW, leaves suck.:realmad: i got 2 weeks of cleanups still scheduled, and almost 8 inches of snow on the ground.:help:  Just hope it doesn't melt on christmas day.

This week I tried to pull a swift one:: like doubling my price t osee if i was too cheap. the deal i go to a 99.00 clean up i tell them 209.00 very small yard. they say i'll call you back. you know what that means... so i wait till 8pm no call back. so I make the move call them. i said was the price to much,
he said we got a quote from another local for 99.00 wow, he said the only reason he called me because his friend said im the best in island heights. so i got the job 129.99. he'll be back for another round in spring..same goes for the other 65

what on earth are you talking about? have you been eating too much salt water taffy down there in New Jersey? doubling your price only to devalue your product by 40% later? what? is this a joke?

what are you guys using for leaf clean ups? we blow everything to the street and then vac it into the dump truck. seems to work the best unit i decide to buy a vac for the mower. but i charge by the man hour plus a dump fee. i give cusotmers a rough estimate but still stick to the man hour rate. how do you do it?
