Tue morning I came out to my truck and got inside and noticed there was stuff everywhere. They stole my Dewalt cordless impact, hand tools, first-aid kit, flashlight and my backbrace. They left a hammer and screwdriver in the back seat which leads me to believe they were going to steal the truck. They also got my garage door opener. They left a Craftsman tool box full of hand tools that I have accumulated over the years, probably worth more than all they stole from me. I am now taking my tools out of the truck at night and installing more lights with motion detectors on the soffet of our house. All in all it is costing me right at $750.00 to replace everything, my deductable for the business is $500.00, homeowners insurance ded. is 1K. At least they didn't break out a window. Which leads me to my question, How did they get in my truck? It is a 2007 Sliverado HD and the doors were locked.

Your truck's transmitter might have been duplicated... it happens.

Somebody told me that they can use a really strong magnet to open the lock.

I was at lamaze class with my wife. guy broke window to get into car. cut themselves, bled on the leather seats, cut the dash to steal airbag(never got it), stole radio and 2 cell phones.
