I was working at my regular job and noticed as I was leaving. The landscaping company was doing work on the property. There was a guy that was trimming with no safety glasses. I was going to say something but I'm not his foreman or his boss. I just happened to notice yesterday the same guy was trimming again with no safety glasses. It makes me wonder why people disregard safety. What are some of the bad things you guys have seen while going to another job??

1.Seen these guys drag racing with the mowers last year
    2. Trying to pull wheelies with mowers (putting the mower in reverse and then jamming it in forward and pulling up)
    3. Trimming with no safety glasses at least twice this year.

This is all from the same lawn comapny not sure of the name though.

People wonder why health insurance is going up this is a small reason why:angry:

I took a rock in the eye a few years ago that almost burst my eye ball. There was a large lump and my whole eye was spider veined. Looked cool but couldn't see squat for about 2 weeks out of that eye. If I dont have saftey glasses, I wont edge. Every time a rock hits my glasses, I'm reminded of why I wear them.

Seriously, we wear Radians safety systems..glasses with ear plugs integrated when doing some nasty trimming / clearing.., or Peltors with our regular glasses w/ magnetic sunglass clips(yes, all 3 of us wear glasses!) on regular lawn mowing days and on landscape projects.

You guys that don't wear safety glasses will wish you did if you ever happen to take a rock or piece of glass in the eye.

That's got to be the worst information I've heard in a long, long time.
