I am taking a class right now and I heard my instructor talking to some other students about how she spent all day in the college green house spraying grain alcohol as an insecticide. 70% alcohol, 30% water; stating, that this is the safest, most natural insecticide available. I'm curious what you guys think about this? I guess I would think that if you are applying directly to plant material, that the alcohol would burn the plants???? On the other hand, if they are widely using this in the greenhouse, then obviously it doesn't do this. Mostly just intrigued. Any thoughts/experience with this?
