    What is the best brand when going gran. for a post-M herb. no fert. . Theres so many to choose from, and different pricings. Need a little input.

    Which products are you asking about? I am sure there have been many advances in this area but I am thinking that the cost would be pretty steep.

    Granular Confront is probably the best that i have used. Be careful with it, it has just been banned in a few states. Also it will kill some annuals and some shrubs, so watch for drift.
    Granular Trimec also works well. The only drawback is that the grass(and weeds) have to be wet for the granule to stick to it.

    I went with Trimec. Applied it early in the am, when there was heavy dew. I hope it works. How long does it take to actually see results with trimec?

    In 24 hours you should begin to see leaf curling.

    The only thing you may have to do is make a second app. on clover. Other than that, i agree with above post.
