I had a Grass Gobbler before I bought my GrassPacker. It lasted 3 years. I bought my GrassPacker in 2003 and it's still going strong. Installation is simply a matter of putting the backets on the mower and cutting the GrassPacker opening to fit the mower. At the most it might take 1 to 2 hours.
I'm sure installation will depend upon your mower. You will specify your mower when you order, and the necessary hardware will be included.
For me, there was nothing to install my GrassPacker. The bracket on the plastic container was already in place. I have a JD 717A, Z-trak. In this case, the bracket bolted to the container includes a pin that is inserted into a hole already existing on the 7 Iron II decks. I need to take off the deflector, but that is a 15 second operation.
