I am a homeowner looking to buy a commercial grade ZTR for 1 acre. I have found a ferris is1000z, 21 kohler engine with 560 hours and a honda pico bagger for $3,000.00. Deck is 48". The other choice is a Gravely 144z, 44" inch deck, 19 hp Kawasaki, mulch kit, power bagger and striping kit for $4,250.00. 150 hours.

Any insight into which would be better deal given deck size, hours and reliability?

    Thanks.

I run a gravely 44 and am very pleased with it. The double blade productivity kit is a good option. Buy the mower that will fit through all your gate and lanscaping restrictions and has a local dealer you like for service.
