what would be your choice?
Gravely 44Z or 144Z
The Dixie Silver Eagle is NOT a COMMERCIAL mower... check the warranty.
How is it not a commercial mower? Its in there commercial line. The warranty is 3 years.
Two year bumper to bumper. 3 years only on Generac engine and deck spindles. Lifetime on other parts listed on their website.
And go with the Gravely.
awww man and i thought we was friends lol! that dixie chopper is the one to go with. pumps and motors 3year on the engine you can buy the belts at nappa v.t.c. controlls. low center of gravity what more do ya want?
Bought the Dixie. Havnt used it yet. Got it for a good deal.
Normal price 7499.00
Got it for 6499.00 so I was happy..
But what about the price of their tires? Them oddball tires don't come cheap. Plus speed doesn't mean you get a good cut. Neighbor has one and my 60" deck on the old Gravely does a better job than it. Neighbor actually wanted to buy the 8199-KT back.
The warranty being cited is a "homeowner warranty".
Read it again.
silver eagle is commercial but geared more towards small operations or lighter use, its designed to use instead of a w/b. its kinda like the exmark phazer.
btw, dixie has a designated homeowner unit now. the silver eagle is commercial.
