I have 70 hrs on my gravely 460 with the kohler efi. Still loving the machine. Have nothing to complain about so far. We have had about 4 inches of rain in the last couple of days. I was weary about going out to mow today but the 460 did great as always. Cut a variety of grass and some was bi-weekly yards and never saw the first clump. Cuts just as well in the wet as in the dry. Cut on 3 inches and the cut was amazing. Even had a friend text to see what i was doing this morning. I told him I was mowing and he said it would be too wet. I said dont forget what kind of mower I have. Very satisfied so far with my gravely. If your in the market for a new mower, give the 460 a try. You will not be disappointed

They do look like a pretty hardcore machine. Seems they have the same sort of parts as the new lazer.

Cut my yard with the Toro today and it worked great. Thanks again, Marshmallow. I think most of the major z makers put out good products. Glad your Gravely is doing well.

I got out my 460 with efi right after it quit raining here today just to go ahead and get my yard taken care of. Easily cut 2-3" off without a single clump and you could see all the water on the grass before I started. Almost looked like it was bagged

Wait until you get some hours on it. Once the paint starts wearing under the deck you will start to get some clumps. Not real bad but it will start to clump in wet conditions. But yes these are some of the best multi condition mowers I have ever cut with and I have cut with many different mowers over the years.

Same here. I have 65 hrs on my PT 260 and really do like the machine. NEVER EVER gets grass buildup under the deck no matter what you are mowing. Never takes a lawn dump nor shoots wads. Spreads clippings like a champ most of the time (without baffles). Does tend to 'pile' clippings a little in dewy grass - but nothing that I am overly concerned about. I do intend to purchase the notched hi lifts to see if I can get an even better cut.
