I'm strongly considering the Gravely WAW 34. I have about 0.4 acres, with lots of short runs and lots of flower beds to maneuver. A true commercial mower is too much (in my opinion), so I'm trying to find a top-notch residential mower.

Does anyone have experience with this mower? Or similar mowers?

I just picked one up (lightly used) a few weeks ago, and will be installing a mulch kit on it tomorrow and I will be using it part time in a commercial environment. For 0.4 acres residential use, I expect it would be a pretty good choice. At 250 lbs, it pretty easy to maneuver, but after using it just around my property (1.25 acres) to check it out, I noted that a person's wrists and forearms will get a pretty good workout using it a lot. I had a friend check it out (former Gravely mechanic) and it checked out good. Main thing is to change the oil religiously and keep the air filter clean. Do that and the B&S IC engine should last a good long time. Good luck! :)
