Does anyone know much about the Great Dane "Scamper" model? Is it a good mower? (It's the 48" Hydro)

If it is the one with the loop handles, that is an awesome machine.

If it's the pistol grip with the IZT transmissions, run away as fast as you can. Those things were dogs, tranny problems, it took an act of god to change the hydro belt.

But I love the loop model, it's really easy to drive, built like a tank, and stipes good. I would reccommend a proslide with it.

i have used them and love the pistol grips. i still have one and love it. i used to have the loop handle and liked it cause you couse use one hand to steer it, but it sucked going on hills(up and down). I have a fried whos been using great dean for about 12 years and they all still run, even his old non floating surfers.
