I just had to let somebody know what happened today. We picked up a clean-up job about 2 months ago. I gave a price of $XXX the owner was so impressed she paid us a extra $100.00. She told her mother about it. She came over and said that she may have something coming up we’d be interested in. Anyway, we got a yearly contract for the home we cleaned up for a 100.00 a month. We went there last Tuesday and took care of the property again.
This afternoon I get a phone call from the mother. She wants me to give bids on 3 properties. One is a 18 unit apt. building she owns. The other 2 are office buildings. I gave her a bid of $1450.00 on the apts. $685.00 for one building and $210.00 for the other. I got a one year contract on all three locations tonight. I can’t believe how good it feels to get these jobs. We bought a Walker 4 months ago. And between the job the walker does and doing the best we can it has paid off. I learned alot from this site by reading the threads others have posted. Sorry if it sounds like bragging. But damn it feels good.

Was the lady ORIGINALLY impressed with you job BECAUSE the Walker simply did that GREAT of a job, or did you really put out the extra effort and then she rewarded you with the extra money?

Sounds like a great pro-Walker thread...

One day I hope to get there. <G>

You got the bid of $1450.00 monthly on a 18-unit apartment? Man this thing must be one tough property, or this lady really likes you, LOL. Oh well, good luck with the new accounts.

I know the feeling man. Too bad you can't save it in a bottle and pour a little out on the days when it all goes in the toilet.

    Congrats.

What happened on the clean up was I went on the roof used the blower to clean it and then blew the gutters out. She had never had anyone do that in the past. Later we cleaned everything up with the Walker. Ya, the apt. complex is more like condos. pool, decks. We also have to take care of all the plants, trimming, everything. They pay for any extras we do the work. Thanks for the great comments. I just had to tell somebody. Duke
