great start with a new customer!!!

    For the record, my rates start at $45/hr and all that gets you is me with hand tools and light labor. That's up from $35/hr when I first started out in 2002. As I start adding power equipment and for heavier labor my rates go up from there. I feel that I need to charge more for heavy labor because I still need to make a certain amount per day. If I can only work 6 hours before I'm exhausted I need to charge more.

    As has been stated already, people have different productivity rates and overhead costs and live/work in different areas, so what's good for one may not be good for another.
