    Hey guys,
Just wanted your opinion on ground prep. Right now I use the teeth on my bucket to rip into the soil and loosen it up then I run a harley rake over it a couple times to remove rocks, clumps, and smooth everything out. Most of the time my harley rake only goes 3 to 4 inches deep with the guards removed. I am debating to either use rippers to rip the soil or a tiller to till it at a depth of about 6" before I harley rake. Do any of you guys do this or think this would help better develop roots. Very few of my yards have irrigation so I am wanting my turf roots to grow as deep as possible.
