Does anyone have experience with a Groundtek fertilizer spreader. I have a model about 6 years old and has an old style motor which doesn't have enough torque to turn the spinner. I only have about 10 hours or less on it. has anyone adapted any other motor to work. The new models have a larger motor. I checked with Groundtek and they say it is too large a modification to make it worthwhile to do. I don't want to scrap the unit I have because everything else is in great shape.

Any suggestions for a new unit if I end up having to buy a new one.
