growing bermuda grass from seed

    Avguy..... WHOA! that lawn looks awesome.....

    what was the brand of bermuda seed you used? I couldn't tell from your post what brand/kind of seed you used?

    Thanks! Sunstar......it's considered a medium grade bermuda. I purchased it at my local JD/Lesco.

    Just to make all this REAL clear. Bermuda seed does not compare to 419. Just keep that in mind. All the bermuda you see in this area is 419.

    yes 419 is beautiful stuff.

    my favorite turf is zeon zoysia. just installed some last week and it's just fabulous looking.

    also not avail as seed, but some folks are happy with their seeded varieties, and some folks just don't have sod in their budget or on their priority list.
