Embark or Atrimec anyone use it how does it work. I would like to spray early spring and not cut the whole year is that feasible and how do the shrubs look? How long does it control growth?

Atrimmec works well on Forsythia and others, but not so well on Barberry and Boxwoods, I am trying Cutless this time. For Atrimmec expect 9 weeks of slower growth.

I've used atrimec on hollies. It reduces the growth pretty well all season, but if it is a very high-end mainenance area you can still expect some trimming, just not as much. The vertical growth that must be trimmed seems to be more sparse and easier to trim.

Be sure to soak the entire bush for best results, not just the leaves.
