Handheld blowers with best p/w ratio?

    Want a handheld for my wife, what manufacturer has the most output with the lightest weight in handheld blowers?

    You can easily look at all the specs but I like my Echo. Easy to start and lasts a LONG time.

    ive used both echo and stihl i seemed to like the stihls weight and power better

    I agree, ince. The HBZ2500 is a good machine as would be the HB2300.

    From experience, I would say that ease of starting would be the most important factor for a non-LCO female when it comes to all power equipment. You can always buy a strap for the blower, but if she can't start it, she won't use it.

    Go shopping together and let her start a few models.....performance will all be roughly the same within a category.
