hard to start

    would it be hard to pull start a 19hp engine.

    depends on who's engine. I like pull start. $2 for a new cord if you break it. $200 for a starter.

    Exactly, Kawis, Hondas, some kohlers and probably a few others are good pull starters.

    My 17 Kaw twin is easier to start than the 12.5 and 14 Kaw single cylinder.

    My 15hp kawi is the easiest thing to start. First pull EVERY time.

    i second that !!!! ive got the 15 kaw is pull start - easiest thing in the world the 23koh is electric and the 27koh is electric

    I wouldn't want to do it if it's been sitting around and/or or is cold outside.
