I need to prep about 12,000 sq ft of loam. What are some pros and cons of each? I'll have to rent a small tractor with either attachment.

I like yorks for grading and leveling, but if you only need to smooth out a few bumps and clean out the soil/get out rocks and roots, then a harley rake is better.

I agree with the post above but if the loam has been spread for a while and has alot of weeds growing the harley would be a better choice.

The loam went down last weekend. I spread it with the D3 now i just need to get out the pebbles and touch it up.

Go with a york rake, I think either way you'll be fine, but the rake will smooth things out and mix everything in. Hope this helps!
