Has anyone ever seen one of these?

    This looks like a very useful product, has anyone ever seen one of these or posibly know where to get one??
    Anyone know anything about it???

    It looks like a core aerator to me, followed by a roller to smush down the plugs that pop out. I bet the 2 squares on top are for stacking weights or cinderblocks or whatever to weigh it down...

    I forget the company that made these type of things...

    What am I missing here? Why would you want to roll the lawn right after you just core aerated it? Aren't you re-compacting it?

    Actually, I think the roller acts as a counter-weight. When the lever is put down, the unit pivots, driving the spoons down into the ground, and lifting the "filled" roller. Much like the walk-behind ones. The trays on top would be for additional weight. I must say, this is a much better design than their original. It has more wkeels, and more spoons PER wheel than their older make. The one that John Deere sold as their (the pull behind) was a Brinley. Basically, a "homeowner special".

    Exactly what I was thinking....defeats at least part of the purpose.
