Having trouble adjusting this deck...

    It's a Deutz-Allis 916 hydro that works quite well. It's by no means operator friendly.:weightlifter:
    We'd been cutting at maximum height but it puts the deck drive belt at too much of an angle and tends to really wear on the belt. Setting the deck 2 positions lower seems to help but the striping rollers appear to be too low ( they support the weight of the deck). Can't figure out how to raise them more than a half to 3/4 of an inch at best. All sorts of pivot points. It's a late 70's model I believe.
    Are these just striping rollers or do they also serve as anti-scalp too ?
