    Hi everybody!

I was planning to buy a frontmount to go with my current ztr. But I when to my dealers (deere and newholland) and when I was the beasts my mind began to change. I was not sure if this mower would big good enough for my need.

After thinking about that, I went to my deere dealer and they gave me a quote for a 777 with 60 inch of cut. after I went to the toro dealer and they gave me a price for the efi toro with 60 inchs of deck. But the dealer let me try and push me a lot the diesel toro 27hp with 60inches. Now I'm so confuse!!

I need a second mower to go on some commercial accounts, mid size schools (7-8 acres), cimetery (8acres)and also help me on some residential with the other mower(1acre and more).

Is the diesel too heavy to go on residential account? And my other question is about commercial accounts. I'm planning to buy a new mower to be more productive and going on bigger schools in a near futur (about 20 acres flat). I don't want to be stuck in thick grass. For sure the diesel would be the best for that need. But also, I'm planning to put this mower on some residential account to. So the gaz could be better. Is the 29hp EFi would be strong and good enough to run 8 hours per day 3-4 days a week 400 hres a year? So for those with 60 or 72 in decks with gas engine, do you always have enough power and what mower do you use?

You may want a 48 or 52 for the cemetary, to access between the stones.

I just got an eXmark 66'' deck....does that help confuse you some more? LOL
I would go with a gas mower, I got a 31 horse on mine and it has PLENTY of power :weightlifter: . 60'' with the highest horsepower I could get my hands on is what I would recommend.

To justify a diesel in my opinion you would need to run it more than 400 hours per year. The weight would not be that big of a issue, the extra cost however would be. Not too many diesel's here but the ones I do see are running 6 to 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Good luck whichever way you go and keep us posted, especially pictures.:)
