Ya'll might want to check this out www.mygallons.com After my fuel bills the last 3 months I signed up for it. For $30 it's a no brainer.

Where was this last winter when I was looking for something along these lines?

FYI, you can hedge against gas price increases simply by buying oil futures options or even stocks if you have enough free cash. I made enough in oil trust units in the last 2 months to buy several years of gas.

I'd want to hear feedback on the reliablity of prepaying for anything these days. But it's interesting enough I'll read more.

*Cost of annual membership is $29.95 when enrolling in the auto-refill program.

Doesn't that mean the card re-tanks itself?
Which all this is going to do is drive the price at the pump even higher...

I've played the futures market myself and did well on oil. Took my profits from that and purchased more land. So, it's all good.
