Hedge in full bloom???

    Thought you might want to look at my walkway hedge. This is Barberry and dwarf ilex. In the winter the Barberry is bare, so it's still a nice change, especially when the snow falls.

    That is a very nice walkway with the alternating colors of the bushes.

    Yeah, that's the problem. The Barberry ends turn a nice deep red, but when you trim it, all that's left is plain ole' green. I try to give them a good hair cut early in the season and them let them just go.
