What is the best way to control the mess created from trimming hedges. I am doing an area where raking is difficult. How can I trap the leaves and bits of branches for easy removal?

    Thanks for help.

Throw down a tarp along the bottom of what you're trimming.

Always wait until the trimming is done to put down the fresh mulch. And do clean-up as much as possible with a tarp and blower.

    Tarp,Blow it out goood,
When I trim hedges I make sure I even keep the lowest branches up off the ground area also, (prune them if I have to)<each job is different elevation> makes it look neater and makes cleaning more efficient too

I use an old bed sheet and cut it with a slit like a Christmas tree skirt and you can get it around real close, works great!
