Help Determining The Size Of A Sand Filter

    The I.D. of the O-ring is 2 5/16" and the O.D. is 2 5/8"

The length of the clear canister is 10" not including the part that the pipe glues into nor the 1/2" ball valve on the bottom. The I.D. is 2 1/4".

The lenght of the screen is 8 1/8" and the O.D. is 1 5/8".

I do not have access to measure the pipe to know what size it is.

I would think that this is a 1 1/2" or 2" Vu-Flo-type filter but it is not a Vu-Flo filter. I can not read the name on it for sure but it looks like it says "plumb" and it appears to be very old.

    Thanks for your help!
