Just wondering if anyone knows of some sites, formula's, programs or anything else at all that help to figure dimensions, and measurements for all sorts of projects. Just wanting to know.

Check in some landscape books. I would also try to find a math book. It will have circles, triangles, etc. For weird shapes like a kidney or putting green shape you will need the landscape book. Try looking at a University book store that offers horticulture classes. Most of these books will have lots of useful formulas.

There are lots of programs that will help with math, also there are programs that will do take offs of plans. These programs run from $200 to $20,000, this doesn't included the cost of a tablet ($1100- $3500)
