Please see the attached photo. It's growing in the lawn and flower beds. I also have a massive chickweed problem which here on Long Island has grown throughout the mild winter. What is the best remedy for that?
Purple deadnettle--similar to henbit. It is a winter annual--and a late fall weed spray will kill it in advance.
Mowing will eliminate most of it in spring. It naturally dies out in warm weather, and starts again next fall, if seed is present.
