Ok...I have been looking at used Super Z's and have found me choose which one to buy. I will be using it for my residential estate commercial work. Here are the details...

    1. 2005 60" Super Z, 25hp Kawasaki, Standard deck, 60 hours residential use, garage kept, excellent condition. ~$6500

    2. 2005 60" Super Z, 28hp EFI Kohler, Standard deck, 160 season of commercial use, probably kept outside most of the time, very good condition, but has torn arm rest and needs new anti-scalp wheels for the deck. ~$6500 (might be able to negotiate to about $6000)

I'm torn between the motor sizes, condition, and hours.

    Please help...thanks.

I would go EFI for the 6,000, that is a good deal.

Get the EFI----plenty of power and torque, plus better fuel economy.

Make sure you know of a dealer that can work on it in case you need it. Not every dealer knows how to work on the Kohler EFI.

Anti scalp rollers are pretty inexpensive compared to pumps, wheel motors, spindles and engines. Don't forget to check out other parts of the mower.

I was able to negotiate the 28hp Kohler EFI mower down to $5800.00 so I bought it. It needs a little cosmetic stuff, but it looks like a great mower. Thanks for all of the help...
