Help Please, Winter Rye put down on 30 acres

    I failed to notice where you are. Yes, in the south perennial rye doesn't stand a chance of surviving the summer. I mix tall fescue with annual rye 50-50 for winter color. The tall fescue does die out around the end of June for the most part. Some can survive here but only in areas where it stays shady all day.
