    I run a 36" exmark metro. I'm currently running meg-mo blades.
With any dampness on the grass I get so much clumping I almost can't us the machine.
1st - the belts are tight
2nd - It's not the bag. The way I know is that when I shoot the grass it will through fine for a couple minutes then it'll start shooting out clumps. Makes an unacceptable mess. I've tried to mow over the clumps and it just makes more of a mess.
3rd - when I'm done with a lawn I get about 10 to 15 pounds of grass from under the deck
4th - I am using that under deck spray my dealer sells.

    I'm at a loss. HELP!!!!!!

five diamond, i ran meg-mos last year. i hated them for grass but loved them for leaves. I think alot depends on conditions and HP. what HP is your Exmark, if its 12-13hp on a 36" deck forget it, especially in thick wet grass. the motor bogs and the blades fold back leaving widrows everywhere

The problem is the Meg-Mo blades, not the mower or the hp. Their "blade foldback design" works great, the blades fold back when they come into contact with the grass thereby saving your spindles. If the blades stayed stationary the design would be great.

    Switch to high lift blades.
