I like my 6'6 x 12 pretty well for a smaller setup. If you got a zero turn in the future with a 60 inch wide deck you'd need a wider trailer. With a 12 ft. trailer you have more room for a walk behind or possibly another ZTR.

That trailer your looking at could haul around a wb and some other stuff, but I wouldn't expect it to last very long. I would spend a little more money and get something that will last you a while and will give you some room to grow.

It'll make a good starter trailer. At 15 I'm sure you're on a budget and this fits the bill perfectly. It won't last forever but you'll probably want to get something larger in a few years anyway. Use it for a couple/few years and then sell it for what you paid for it.

I agree very much with that.

In addition, have you considered used trailers? I paid $500 for a well-used 6.5x16. After about $800 and a lot of elbow grease, I got her looking and functioning very well now. It's a very nice trailer, but it needed a lot of work, and that's exactly what I did.

I would look at craigs list for a used one and see if you could get one around the same price for something a little more beefy. 2000 lb gvw seems like a very light trailer. If you don't find anything I guess you really can't go wrong, but like another guy said...buy an older trailer that needs a little work, like paint or a deck and you can probably get out of it for the same price for a more heavy duty trailer. Just out of curiousity, who is towing this trailer. Is 15 old enough to drive where you are?

As others have said.... Craig's List.

A new cheap trailer, even though new will always be a cheap trailer. Meaning light metal, cheap wiring, no primer, poor bearings and tires, etc.

You can find a better quality used trailer for the same, or even less money just gotta keep looking and know what you're looking for. If you buy it right.... you can always sell it and upgrade for little or no loss.

It just takes checking CL several times a day and having cash in hand. Sold my aerator today in two hours on CL. Guy drove 60 miles to pick it up.
