Help with new mower selection Ferris, Gravely,Woods

    I test drove the IS2000Z mower today. It was ok but nothing that I would be excited about mowing with. For lack of a better discription it just felt light.

    I then test drove a used IS3100Z. BIG difference in mowers. Felt more stable/solid and it really soaked up the bumps in the ground. THANKS for encouraging me to look at the 3100.

    The used 3100 is a 2011, 30 hp Vanguard Big Block motor, 61" deck and has 160 hours on it. Does $8000 sound reasonable for this mower?

    I got them down to $7100 + Tax = $7700. Think I will pull the trigger and buy it tomorrow.

    R&R - Thanks for the tip about 2012 IS3100Z's in Valpo but they are all gone.
