I was priceing a job today and the owner wanted a snow plowing rate also ,,,then it hit me this in one large area 400 x 500 ft ..a lot of snow if and when it gets deep ..... what would you charge ? it's mostly open parking lot ...

Have you split priced before ? like a premium for 4 .++++ inches or more
    thanks already ron

For snow plowing we figure 175 per hour per truck and 65 per man per hour for snow shoveling. Another $125 for salt application and then another $25 per 50# of salt.

For snow plowing we price by increments...

    1-3
    4-6
    7-9
    10-12
    13-15

Then anything greater than 15 is a blizzard clause and goes to a per push price with minimum one hour per visit.
