Help with pricing massive shrub trimming!!

    Ouch, on the rubber mulch!!! You probably will need to lay down tarps, or other to catch the clippings. Getting the clippings out of the rubber mulch can be very difficult.

    Since you have so many bushes, you may want to find a custom tarp layout to fit around each bush. For example, you may wish to have a tarp with half-circle cutouts on a side, to be laid next to one another, overlapping, so that the bush is completely encircled with a catching mechanism. I had considered this one year, but did not act. My contact with with an awning company, who could make the cut from a heavy cloth remnant, hem out the edge for the half-circles. There may be other less costly ways -- including some 1/4" plywood with half-circle cutouts, ... anything to keep the clippings out of the rubber mulch. Handling the clippings will take much longer if you have to use a catching mechanism. Putting down anything will be much faster if you have a helper.
