Help with this Holly bush

    Your saying that this JUST all happened within 1 week! Was something sprayed on it??

    Nothing was sprayed on the bush from us or the client.

    Did it happened in a week?
    At the top I see soot on the branches or black blobs on top?

    Yes, week before last it was fine came back the following week and it looked like it was torched.

    Did it have a sudden freeze in that time?
    If that's sooty mold on top branches or some kind of growth?

    It still maybe alive dropped damaged leaves or frozen and dropped

    We did have a slight frost the day with temps dropping in low 30s but for only a few days. I will grab a better pic of the damage and post. It's the damndest thing I've seen in such short time

    Get some pics of green leaves too look for spots or leaf miner or maybe white spots which would be scale

    I see those black spots on top branch junctions thats whats concerning to me

    Could be insect or fungal damage that tree dropped with cold temperatures

    While you're there scrape a leafless branch if its green its alive

    Its subbed out to ALM they handle alm the spray and fert apps.
