I have a grasshopper 220 that I was mowing with today. I looked down and noticed that when I hit a bump, the deck would bounce up and would stay at different levels. I kept having to push the deck back down to the desired height with my foot. I took it to a dealer and they loosened the springs on them all the way. It solved the problem of the deck bouncing around, but now I am butchering my yards with the cut. It's all uneven and leaving horrible lines. I checked my chains and all of them but the back left side has tension. The back left one is loose to the touch. Is that the reason for the lines, or does it have anything to do with the springs being let all the way loose.
